Dengue Fever Disease Found in Mid-western Nepal

Dengue fever disease has been found in nine patients while undergoing check-up on the suspects at the Nepalgunj Teaching Hospital in mid-western Nepal, the National News Agency, RSS reported on Tuesday.

 

According to the RSS, of the total suspects, six were found victimized by the Primary Dengue Infection in Nepalgunj, some 600 km west of Kathmandu, two in Lucknow of India whereas one in Kathmandu, said Director of the Hospital M. Kidwai.

 

He said two patients are undergoing treatment in the hospital now whereas seven others returned to their homes after the treatment.

 

The National Public Health Laboratory, Kathmandu, has also proved dengue disease, Kidwai said.
