Air China is all set to extend its services to Nepal from different Chinese cities, beginning from 2007.

Qiao Shuwen, general manager of Kathmandu office of Air China, said on Wednesday Air China will operate one flight per day from Lhasa to Kathmandu during the high season of July-October from next year.

It will also give continuity to four flights a week in March- June, which it has been operating at present in other seasons as well.

Qiao told Xinhua that by taking Air China connecting flights, passengers can fly from Kathmandu to Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Qingdao and other major cities of China on the same day.

Air China had been operating flights on Lhasa-Kathmandu route during the high tourism season only.
