Weekly Weather Forecast (March 19 to 25)

Northwest China: March 19 to 20, some of western Xinjiang and southern Qinghai will experience light rain or snowfall while other parts will see sunny to cloudy skies with higher temperatures. March 21 to 22, northern Xinjiang, most of Qinghai and southeastern parts of the region will experience light to moderate snow or rain. March 24 to 25, another cold front will come through Xinjiang and western Gansu bringing snow, rain, strong winds, and lower temperatures.

 

North China: March 19 to 20, the middle and northernmost areas will be cloudy to overcast with light rain or sleet in and force 4 to 5 winds. March 21 to 23, due to streams of cold air, the majority of the region will see light rain or snow with force 4 to 5 northerly winds as well as colder weather. March 24 to 25, middle and eastern sections of Inner Mongolia will continue to receive weak rainfall while the rest of the region will see sunny to cloudy skies.

 

Northeast China: March 19, western and southern Liaoning Province will be overcast with light rain or sleet. March 19 to 21, most of the region will be sunny to cloudy with higher temperatures. March 22 to 24, most parts will experience light to moderate snow or rainfall with force 4 to 6 winds with temperatures dropping. March 25, the majority of the region will be sunny to cloudy.

 

Central China: March 19, most parts will be overcast to cloudy with rain showers expected in southern Hunan Province. March 20 to 21, the region will see sunny to cloudy skies with possible fog in some areas. March 22 to 24, most parts will receive light to moderate rain or thundershowers and some places will experience heavy rain or rainstorms accompanied by occasional lightning and wind. March 25, southern parts will see more showers.

 

East China: March 19, most areas south of the Huaihe River will have light to moderate rain. March 20 to 22, most of the region will be sunny to cloudy with fog in some areas. March 23 to 25, most parts will see light to moderate rain or thundershowers with possible heavy rainfall or storms expected in some places with accompanying occasional lighting and strong winds. Eastern coastal regions will be hit with force 4 to 5 northerly or easterly winds and a decline in temperature.

 

South China: March 19 to 20, most parts will have light to moderate rain and then turn cloudy. March 21 to 22, the majority of the region will be cloudy with possible fog expected in some eastern and northern parts. March 23 to 25, most parts will see light to moderate rain or thundershowers.

 

Southwest China: March 19 to 20, some of Yunnan and Guizhou provinces will receive light rainfall with other parts remaining sunny to cloudy. March 21 to 23, eastern Tibet will have light to moderate snow or rainfall; eastern sections will see light to moderate rain with heavy rainfall in some of Chongqing Municipality and Guizhou Province. March 24 to 25, southern Guizhou and eastern Yunnan will continue to receive light rainfall, while the rest of the area will be sunny to cloudy.
