Number of Package Tourists in Macao Rises in April

Macao recorded 353,816 package tourist arrivals in April, seeing a year-on-year rise of 29.7 percent, according to official statistics issued here on Tuesday.

 

The figures from the government-run Statistics and Census Service (SCS) showed that above 68.7 percent of the package visitors came in the month from the Chinese mainland.

 

The SCS statistics also showed that the number of Macao's hotel rooms reached 13,049 at the end of April, up 15.2 percent over the same month of 2006.
