The Macao Government Tourist Office (MGTO) plans to introduce additional cultural shows in a bid to promote the region's tourism industry, according to a press release issued by the Office Friday.

The MGTO release said every Saturday and Sunday from July 7 to Aug. 26, the Office will stage traditional Chinese lion dance and Portuguese folk dance performances at the Ruins of St. Paul's and A-Ma Temple, two of the famed historic sites in the city, for visitors and residents to enjoy the unique combination of the Chinese and Portuguese cultures.

The MGTO, besides, will introduce "Macao: a World of Difference, the Difference is Macao" as the promotional slogan and "Experience Macao" as the promotional theme for its various tourism markets around the world.
