Holmes in the frame

Climb "yellow" mountain

Dubbed as the northern "Yellow Mountain," Yunmeng in Beijing's north suburbs runs from south to north and is topped by a section of the old Great Wall. The latest renovation of the Great Wall in this part was in the early Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).

Camping with twist

Sidecar Solutions is organizing a two-day camping tour this weekend. Starting on Saturday, the tour will first got to Huairou County and then on to a camping area in the mountainous area near Miyun reservoir.

Veggie heaven

A good chance to try and learn something about authentic Chinese cuisine comes by joining a monthly session of dining-out parties in local restaurants.
