An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale jolted Fiji region at 18:22:31 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 599.70 km, was initially determined to be at 14.4505 degrees south latitude and 173.7178 degrees east longitude.
