6.3M quake hits Papua New Guinea region

An earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale jolted Papua New Guinea region at 03:30 Hong Kong Time on Sunday, the Hong Kong Observatory said.

The epicenter was initially determined to be at 4.7 degrees south latitude and 153.0 degrees east longitude.
