M5.2 quake hits Santa Cruz Islands region

An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale jolted Santa Cruz Islands region at 18:29:30 GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 35.10 km, was initially determined to be at 11.1608 degrees south latitude and 164.4640 degrees east longitude.
