A Mozambican delegation consisting of members from the ministries of agriculture and environment is in Brazil for experience in treating agro-plastic bags used in the agriculture sector, the government said on Monday.
Mozambicans want to know how to store and incinerate the bags in order to preserve environment in the southern African country.
According to a statement released by the Agriculture Ministry, the mission from Sunday to Friday was scheduled to begin with Parana, where the members of the delegation were set to see a storing center of plastic bags.
The delegation is headed by the national director of the Project on the Elimination of Toxic Waste, Khalid Cassam, and the national director of agricultural services, Mahomed Rafik Vala.
