An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale jolted south of the Fiji Islands at 1908 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 15.20 km, was initially determined to be at 26.1932 degrees south latitude and 176.1305 degrees east longitude.
