Mount Etna erupts in Italy

Mount Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe, erupted on March 6 on the island of Sicily, Italy. The eruption spewed large amounts of ash and lava high into the sky, lighting up the dark night. This volcanic eruption didn't cause any interruption to air traffic. [Chinanews.com]
