Two French lawmakers will be assigned to make proposals for the preparatory work for the Paris 2015 UN Climate Change Conference, Minister Delegate attached to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Pascal Canfin said Tuesday.

The proposal-making mission of Senators Michel Delebarre from the Nord Department and Ronan Dantec from Loire Atlantique Department is aimed to mobilize domestic and foreign stakeholders to contribute to designing a new international climate change agreement in 2015, "which is applicable to all countries," the minister said in a statement.

The mission's findings "will be presented in July 2013 to allow France to better prepare for the hosting of the United Nations Conference on Climate Change in 2015," it added

France offered to host the Conference of the Parties in 2015 during the 2012 Doha UN Climate Change Conference, as it believes the Paris' meeting should lead to this new global agreement.
