M6.0 quake hits Russia's Kamchatka Peninsula

An earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale jolted off the east coast of the Kamchatka Peninsula, Russia on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 33.90 km, was initially determined to be at 52.5051 degrees north latitude and 160.4701 degrees east longitude.
