Algal bloom plagues E. China's Chaohu Lake

Photo taken on June 30, 2013 shows the blue-green algae turning the water color into green at the Chaohu Lake in east China's Anhui Province. Due to heat and sunshine, a large bloom of blue-green algae expanded at the Chaohu Lake, turning part of the lake color into green. [Photo/Xinhua]
