Residents enjoy the sun in Zhengzhou, capital of central China's Henan Province, on Dec. 9. More than 100 cities in 25 provinces in China were shrouded in thick smog for the past week. A new round of cold snap with sharp winds is expected to disperse smog and haze in large swath of China.
