Huo keeps his eye on the Huaihe River

Huo Daishan, 61, is born in Shenqiu County of Henan Province, the largest cluster of "cancer villages" near China's Huaihe River since the 1980s. He is a passionate advocate for the Huaihe River, China's third largest and most polluted river due to millions of tons of waste and sewage dumped by those industries located along its banks. [Photo/Huaihe River Guardians]
