A 921-year-old crape myrtle tree was in bloom in a township in the southwestern Chinese city of Mianzhu, Sichuan Province, Newssc.org reported on Tuesday.
The 10-meter-tall ancient tree was stolen last year and sold for 880,000 yuan (about 143,122 U.S. dollars).
Crape myrtles are cultivated in warmer climates around the world. They are chiefly known for their colorful and long-lasting flowers which occur in summer months.
