The lava flow from Mt. Kilauea burns vegetation as it approaches a property boundary above  the village of Pahoa, Hawaii, early on the morning of Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014. The lava flow from the Kilauea volcano has been slogging toward the village of Pahoa for weeks, moving at speeds of 10 to 15 yards (meters) an hour as it bubbled over a cemetery and reached the community's outskirts.[Photo/USGS]
