Two of Peru's most-famous chefs, Gastón Acurio and Virgilio Martínez, were at the 2014 UN Climate Change Conference (COP20//CMP10) in Lima to give lessons in sustainable cooking to Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, COP President Pulgar-Vidal and Christiana Figueres, Executive Secretary of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
