11 dead as flash floods, mudslide hit SW China county

Severe floods and mudslide caused by heavy rainfall hit Xuyong County in Luzhou City, southwest China's Sichuan Province, on Aug. 17, leaving many homes damaged and causing power outage. At least 11 people have been confirmed dead and 13 others are missing as of Wednesday. Rescue work is still underway. [Photo/Xinhua]
