Ecuador remains on yellow alert over Cotopaxi volcano

A ash column that emanates from the crater of Cotopaxi volcano is seen from the Loma del Panecillo, in Quito, capital of Ecuador, on Aug. 22, 2015. A report by Geophysical Institute of Ecuador said that the eruptive activity of Cotopaxi volcano is maintained with load of continuous emission of steam and with average and moderate ash load, so the yellow alert is maintained. [Photo/Xinhua]
