Dolphin strands on beach of El Condor, Argentina

Image taken on Nov. 21, 2015 distributed by National News Agency Telam on Nov. 25, 2015 shows a newborn dolphin of the Franciscan variety stranded on a beach of El Condor, 30km from the city of Viedma, Rio Negro Province, Argentina. According to local press, a female dolphin of 61 centimeters long, with few hours of life and with the umbilical cord still attached to its body, was found on Saturday after having been stranded on a beach of El Condor. The small dolphin was rescued by personnel of the Secretariat of Environment and Sustainable Development (SAyDS, for its acronym in Spanish) of Rio Negro and Cethus Foundation, which after keeping hydrated was returned to its habitat on Wednesday near of estuary of Rio Negro River in the sea.
