Swiss Pedersen Wins Women's Skeleton Gold

Switzerland's Maya Pedersen totaled 1.59.83 to win the gold medal in the women's skeleton competition of the Turin Winter Olympics on Thursday.

Britain's Shelley Rudman, 1.23 off pace, took the silver and Canadan Mellisa Hollingsworth-Richards got the bronze in 2:01.41.
