Australia Upset Lithuania 109-96

Lithuania failed to extend their winning streak to 3 at the SCCC tournament when they were defeated by Australia 96-109 on Saturday at the Capital Stadium.

Australia led most of the game. They finished 24-22 after the first quarter and 51-41 at the half.

The third quarter was the only period that the Lithuanians outscored 28-26.

Australia led 77-69 after 3 quarters and led by double digit for good to end the game 109-96.

Australia had four double-digit scorers. Glen Saville scored game-high 31 points with 6 rebounds and 6 steals. CJ Bruton had 25 points and 6 assists. Mark Worthington had 15 points and Jacob Holmes added 11.

Mindaugas Lukauskis led Lithuania with 23 points and 7 assists. Martynas Andriukaitis contributed 20 points and Povilas Cukinas 18.
