Deputy Secretary of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee, Governor of Fujian Province

Huang Xiaojing, a native from Fuzhou of Fujian Province, was born in February 1946. With university education, Huang started working in September 1969 and joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in December 1973.

He once served as Secretary of the Fuzhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League of China, Deputy Secretary and Director of Gulou District of Fuzhou.

Dec. 2001: Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee and Vice Governor of Fujian Province

Dec. 2003: Deputy Secretary of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee and Vice Governor of Fujian

Dec. 2004: elected Acting Governor of Fujian at the 13th session of the Standing Committee of the 10th Fujian Provincial People’s Congress

Jan. 2005: elected Governor of Fujian at the 3rd session of the 10th Fujian Provincial People’s Congress

Nov. 26: reelected Deputy Secretary of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee

Jan. 24, 2008: reelected Governor of Fujian at the 1st session of the 11th Fujian Provincial People’s Congress

He is a member of the 17th CPC Central Committee.
