Adjust font size:

China's Ministry of Health has urged all local governments to intensify efforts in preventing respiratory infectious diseases.

A report issued by the Ministry of Health says no infection of SARS or bird flu was found in the country, but this year there were more cases of epidemic cerebrospinal meningitis than for the same period last year.

There is a high incidence of respiratory infections in spring.
