The founding meeting of the Xingcheng Swimsuit Industry Association was held March 8 in Xingcheng City, in Liaoning Province's Huludao Prefecture.

Li Haifeng, chief executive of Derong Clothing Company, was elected as the association's first chairman.

Wang Chong, secretary-general of Liaoning Garment Association, said the Xingcheng Swimsuit Industry Association was formed to promote industrial reform, accelerate economic restructuring, and speed up the development of Xingcheng's textile industry.

Shi Wenguang, deputy major of Xingcheng City, Sun Zhihao, secretary of CPC Xingcheng municipal committee, and over 90 managers from different swimsuit enterprises attended the meeting.
