Also known as Xinghai Park, Xingcheng Beach is a half-moon shaped bay located 8 kilometers southeast of Xingcheng City, Huludao. Dubbed the "2nd Beidaihe Summer Resort", the resort embraces five major elements which include mountains, sea, hot springs, islands and old towns. It was listed as a national key scenic spot in 1988. The resort comprises five scenic areas with more than 50 attractions, including the Three Reefs, Chrysanthemum Girl Sculpture, Nine Dragon Beach and Xingcheng Ancient Town, etc. The bathing beach extends 14 kilometers, providing four major bathing places: Xinghai Bay, Gangkou Bay, Bingjia Bay and Laolong Bay. This is the largest natural bathing area in Northern China.
