The head of the Party School of the Central Committee of CPC (Communist Party of China), Xi Jinping, on Saturday called on Party officials to better study the system of theories of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
Xi, who is also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, made the remarks at the school's opening ceremony for the spring term.
He said party members should stick to and develop the system by applying the Scientific Outlook on Development, persisting in emancipating the mind, pushing forward reform and opening up, correctly understanding basic national conditions and improving Party-building.
Senior leaders Li Yuanchao, He Yong and Ling Jihua and more than 1,800 school members and students attended the ceremony.
