Dendrite Precision, a company headquartered in the Grand Union of Innovation of the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone, has developed a cellular-level fluorescence guidance technology. It has been hailed by the journal Nature as a breakthrough ushering in a new era of cellular-precision surgery.
Its intraoperative handheld microscope EndoSCell, the world's only device enabling real-time in vivo cellular imaging during surgery, has elevated surgical visualization from tissue-level to subcellular resolution, surpassing the physical limits of human vision and millimeter-scale imaging.
The technology has been deployed in more than 500 complex neurosurgical cases across over 40 top-tier hospitals in China, significantly improving tumor resection accuracy, reducing postoperative recurrence risks, and filling a critical domestic gap in high-end medical imaging equipment.
Dendrite Precision has evolved EndoSCell into a multifunctional surgical platform, empowering clinicians with precision-guided solutions that benefit patients globally. Beyond healthcare, the core fluorescence guidance technology is poised to bring technology transformation to fields including biological research, healthcare, semiconductor manufacturing and inspection, and industrial quality control.
Jiang Liyang, founder of Dendrite Precision, credits the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone's innovation ecosystem for the company's success. "The zone's pragmatic support in site selection, financing, administrative procedures, and policy incentives has been instrumental," he said.
According to Jiang, the firm aims to leverage its R&D strengths to accelerate upgrades in Anhui's biopharma and high-end medical device industries.
