On May 11, Forbes China unveiled the results of its 2025 Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technology Enterprises Top 50 selection. iFlytek and HiDream.ai from the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone made the list and Vision Intelligence earned the title of "Emerging AI Company." In addition, Mei Tao, founder and CEO of HiDream.ai, was named an AI influential figure.

iFlytek entered the list for its accomplishment in intelligent voice technology. Supported by the State Key Laboratory of Cognitive Intelligence, the firm has in recent years continuously promoted original technology innovation. Its Spark Large Model has outperformed the world's top models in many core capabilities in the Chinese language field, and strongly empowered industries such as education, medical care, and finance. 

In January, iFlytek launched its multilingual simultaneous interpretation system with the fastest voice interpretation delay of less than five seconds, as fast as human expert translators.

Focusing on generative AI, HiDream.ai is a pioneer in the AIGC sector with its open-source image generation model HiDream-I1. The model is capable of efficient and accurate image generation with 17B parameters, and claimed the top position on the independent leaderboard by Artificial Analysis within 24 hours of its release. 

Recently, the company has overcome multimodal technical difficulties, and published a visual creation tool Vivago, which can be widely used in design, marketing, and related areas.

The emerging company Vision Intelligence is a pacesetter in the smart wearables industry. Its flagship product iFLYBUDS Pro integrates multiple functions of AI recording, translation, and abstract generation, serving various industries including finance, law, and education. In April, the firm completed a pre-A round of financing, raising of tens of millions of yuan. 

The Hefei high-tech zone is home to more than 1,500 AI technology companies, with a combined industry scale exceeding 200 billion yuan ($27.72 billion). 

In the future, the zone will consistently apply AI technology to a number of industries, and create a favorable environment for the integrated development of sci-tech innovation and industrial innovation.
