As the core area of the Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center, the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone has gathered a large number of high-end innovation platforms, universities and institutions, as well as high-tech enterprises covering quantum computing, AI, spaceflight, integrated circuits, new energy, new materials, and other fields. The Spark Academy is the world's largest visualization teaching resource library created by New Media Research Institute of the University of Science and Technology of China, located in the Hefei high-tech zone.

The platform helps to visualize abstruse scientific knowledge through interactive multi-media methods, all in ways that are easy to teach and understand. It provides a brand-new teaching and learning experience for primary and secondary school teachers and students.

In addition, a primary school in the zone is inviting doctoral researchers in various fields to teach a class every one-to-two months, which include presentations, experiments, and introductions of cutting-edge technologies.
