The Zhong'an Chuanggu Technology Park located in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone has in recent years made continuous efforts to empower women in sci-tech innovation and entrepreneurship, and unleash their potential in sci-tech advancement. This has been achieved through new platforms, events, and increased number of facilities.

As a key collaboration between Anhui Provincial Investment Group and the Hefei high-tech zone, Zhong'an Chuanggu is an important sci-tech innovation incubation platform, focusing on five core industries: next-generation information technology, artificial intelligence, life sciences, aerospace information, and scientific and technological finance.

At present, the park is home to more than 1,000 sci-tech enterprises and over 12,000 innovation professionals, among which nearly a quarter are women.

In May 2023, the Magnolia Energy Station was inaugurated at the park, providing comprehensive, wide-ranging, and empathetic services for women innovators and entrepreneurs.

Over the past two years, more than 170 various activities including lectures, salons, and job fairs have been held, bringing benefits to over 10,000 women in the sci-tech sector.

In March, the Hefei high-tech zone and iFlytek launched the "SparkHer: AI Trailblazes Dreams" initiative to provide tailored support for women professionals.

Specifically addressing the needs of women professionals, entrepreneurs, university students, and young mothers, the initiative offers policy briefings, entrepreneurial mentoring, career guidance, and consultations on healthcare and legal affairs.

In addition, the park opened a nursery center to tackle childcare challenges faced by young working parents. Up to now, the center has cared for more than 400 children of employees, proving immensely popular among the young workforce and significantly contributing to a more supportive and balanced work environment.
