Thingo, a next-generation universal AI agent platform developed by the Wuhan University-Thingo Tech. Joint Lab of Intelligent Software and Services was launched on Aug. 6, marking Chinese-developed agent technology transitioning from single-task interaction to multi-dimensional collaboration.
The Thingo platform integrates proprietary algorithms, scenario-specific capabilities, and multi-agent coordination technology, enabling collaborative execution of complex tasks across roles and functions. When receiving user instructions, Thingo instantly mobilizes multiple agents to collectively perform full-cycle operations from information analysis and decision-making to planning and execution, seamlessly embedding into scenarios ranging from daily office workflows to specialized business analytics.
"Users simply log into Thingo, voice their needs, and the platform deploys customized agent teams that collaborate like colleagues to tackle intricate tasks with exceptional completeness," explained Fu Lei, chairman of Anhui Thingo Intelligent Technology.
Founded in July 2022, the company relocated its headquarters to the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone to focus on intelligent software services and knowledge graph applications. "The zone's innovation ecosystem has been instrumental," Fu noted. "Through its service platform for specialized and sophisticated enterprises that produce new and unique products, we swiftly connected with investment funds after submitting requests, accelerating market trust and product validation cycles."
In recent years, the zone consistently anticipates technological revolutions, prioritizing foundational innovation and efficient commercialization. Its "Science-Technology-Innovation-Industry" development model leverages high-caliber platforms to empower industrial advancement.
In 2024, the zone secured approval to establish three provincial pilot zones for future-oriented industries in quantum technology, artificial general intelligence, and commercial aerospace. Numerous high-caliber innovation platforms and enterprises with new quality productive forces are now yielding substantial results in quantum information, next-generation AI, and aerospace information, with multiple research achievements transitioning into practical applications.
