As a pacesetter for artificial intelligence industry development in Anhui province, the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone has achieved remarkable progress in the embodied intelligence sector with profound industrial foundation, clear overall layout, and precise policy support.

China Speech Valley is the country's first AI-oriented industrial park at the national level and a frontrunner in the intelligent speech sector. Hosting more than 1,500 companies, including 12 listed companies and 357 industrial enterprises above designated size, the zone has formed a complete ecosystem that integrates research and development, production, and application.

At present, companies based in the zone has developed iFlytek's Spark Multilingual Model and about 30 other vertical large models, providing data analysis and decision support for embodied intelligent robots.

Meanwhile, the zone has gathered more than 100 AI innovation platforms including National Open Innovation Platform for Next Generation Artificial Intelligence and National Intelligent Voice Innovation Center.

The zone hosted a number of embodied intelligence enterprises before 2020, and it welcomed the Jianghuai Frontier Technology Coordination and Innovation Center in September 2021. In 2023, AnyWit Robotics was established and has since developed global leading bionic facial expression head hardware.

Home to 37 embodied intelligence companies covering areas such as complete machine integration, core components, and algorithm systems, the zone has integrated research and development and manufacturing.
