Quantum technology enterprises from the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone stole the spotlight at the Quantum Technology and Industry Conference 2025, held in Anhui province on Nov. 20.
CIQTEK, a leading quantum technology firm in the Hefei high-tech zone, announced that its X-band continuous-wave electron paramagnetic resonance spectrometer EPR300 had been successfully developed and delivered to Queen Mary University of London in the U.K.
Origin Quantum, another quantum technology company from the zone, received a slew of international orders for its dilution refrigeration machine, which will be exported to Belt and Road partner countries.
Home to more than 80 quantum technology companies, the Hefei high-tech zone has fostered an industrial chain spanning quantum communication, computing, as well as measurement.
As an innovation hub of cutting-edge technologies in the country, the zone plans to gather 100 quantum technology companies and attract over 30 world-leading experts in this field by the end of 2025. It also aims to expand the industrial scale of its quantum sector to reach 5 billion yuan ($702.7 million) and produce two listed companies by 2027.
