Anhui's first ecological environment and health science education base was recently established in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone.
Located at the Beiyan Lake Park, the base breaks through the limitation of traditional science museums, transforming the natural environment into immersive learning spaces. It creates an open educational platform integrating learning, exhibition, and interactive experiences.
There are four exhibition areas addressing the topic of ecological conservation. Using dynamic experiences instead of static displays, the exhibition areas allow the public to learn more about the connection between ecological conservation and public health while getting closer to nature, and understand the development concept of "harmonious coexistence between humans and nature."
On Nov. 22, the first science education workshop was held at the base, allowing the children in attendance to learn through various interesting interactive activities.
In the future, the base will continue to carry out science education programs in various themes to build a public education system that is accessible, immersive, and fun.
