The Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone has made significant progress in building a pilot zone for industrial development. Recently, the zone saw the signing and launch of 16 high-quality projects, including the SmartLogic Technology regional center and the 3D scientific computing center, representing a total investment of 10.67 billion yuan ($1.53 billion). Covering key sectors such as semiconductor materials and new energy, as well as emerging frontiers including quantum technology, commercial aerospace, and AI large models, these projects mark a good start to the zone's efforts to raise investment in the first quarter of 2026.

In the semiconductor field, the zone landed two major projects each valued at over 1 billion yuan. A power module packaging and testing project will establish production lines for silicon carbide devices and power module packaging, with expected annual output of 1.5 billion yuan and tax revenue of 100 million yuan upon reaching full capacity, effectively supporting downstream applications in new energy vehicles and photovoltaic energy storage. Meanwhile, a semiconductor measurement and inspection equipment industrial park will focus on technological innovation and upgrading of wafer defect detection equipment, enhancing the autonomy of the industrial chain.

In the new energy sector, the Super Lithium 5GWh Power Battery PACK R&D and Manufacturing Base and the Mingheng New Energy Vehicle Thermal Management System Production Base have been launched, providing solid support for strengthening key components in the intelligent connected vehicle industry.

In commercial aerospace, projects such as the Space Perception Constellation system and the Aerospace Information Cloud Service Platform have been established, extending the industry from R&D to application and strengthening data service capabilities and industry empowerment.

In quantum technology, the base for the R&D and production of gravitational wave intelligent spectrum quantum high-end analytical instrument will focus on the development and manufacturing of high-end mass spectrometers. The founding team brings profound research experience and industrialization expertise, supporting technological upgrading and diversified development in scientific instrumentation.

In the AI large model sector, the SmartLogic Technology regional center will deploy high-performance computing resources, focusing on AI foundation models and material simulation to advance the integration of AI and scientific research. The Audfly company's acoustics R&D and production base, with an annual output of 1 million focused sound screen module assembly products, leverages its globally pioneering directional audio technology to drive innovation and industrial upgrading in acoustic perception for consumer electronics and smart vehicles, filling gaps in the related market.

The Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone has built an investment attraction ecosystem centered on industrial chain collaboration, application scenario empowerment, and capital support, supplemented by key resource guarantees such as land, industrial space, and talent.
