Origin Wukong, China's independently developed third-generation superconducting quantum computer, has been in the early stage of supporting AI computing, and launched multiple quantum AI tools like Origin Brain and QPanda3 Runtime MCP, according to the Anhui Provincial Key Laboratory of Quantum Computing Chips in Hefei, Anhui province.
The laboratory said this enables China's quantum computing power to systematically integrate into the AI application ecosystem for the first time, marking a major step forward from "being usable" to "being user-friendly."
Having integrated quantum computing with AI technology, Origin Brain is a quantum knowledge large model, which is specifically designed to provide efficient and accurate intelligent knowledge services to researchers, educators, and developers.
Another tool, QPanda3 Runtime MCP, allows users to submit various tasks via dialogue with a large-model intelligent agent. It makes quantum power available on demand and much easier for anyone to use.
Developed by leading quantum company Origin Quantum, Origin Wukong has clocked over 47 million visits from 163 countries and regions worldwide since its launch in January 2024.
The new breakthrough aims to lower barriers to quantum computing, and expand access to quantum computing power for more developers and industry applications.
Currently, Origin Quantum is further exploring quantum-AI hybrid algorithms, and focusing on complex, dynamic, and systematic challenges in sectors such as electric power, finance, and industry.
Looking ahead, leveraging local strengths in innovation and industrial chain, the company will continue to promote the deep integration of quantum technology and AI, and constantly expand the application of cutting-edge technologies.
