As economic integration deepens worldwide, top enterprises in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone are expanding their overseas footprint and transforming from regional champions into globally competitive market leaders.

iFLYTEK: AI enhances modern lifestyles

In Kingston, Jamaica, iFLYTEK powers the upscale residential and hotel project The Pinnacle Jamaica with a full-scale smart home solution. The WallEX space system, anchored by an intelligent voice control panel, enables unified connectivity for all home appliances – from lights and curtains to air conditioners and beyond.

In Vietnam, iFLYTEK has formed a partnership with Viettel Telecom –Vietnam's largest telecommunications operator – to jointly develop a new localized AI platform for domestic users. The platform is designed to cover a full range of core AI capabilities including Vietnamese speech recognition, speech synthesis, dialect recognition, as well as the private on-premise deployment of large-scale foundational models.

Sungrow: Clean energy propels transformation

In Spain, Sungrow Power collaborated with BeePlanet Factory to launch customized all-in-one energy storage solutions, precisely tailored to the European market. 

In Lithuania, Sungrow joined forces with Nordic Solar to deliver two energy storage projects with a total capacity of 120MWh, boosting local grid reliability and advancing the development of renewable energy across the region.

In Saudi Arabia, Sungrow's 7.8GWh project has achieved full-capacity grid connection, setting three world records for fastest delivery, largest capacity, and largest deployment of grid-forming technology. Recently, the company also renewed its partnership with leading renewable energy developer Masdar to construct a 7.5GWh grid-connected energy storage project in the United Arab Emirates.

The international breakthroughs of iFLYTEK and Sungrow Power are a direct result of the Hefei high-tech zone's efforts to build its industrial cultivation ecosystem.

In the advanced energy storage sector, over 70 enterprises led by Sungrow have collectively pushed the industrial scale to the hundred-billion level. In the AI sector, the zone is home to more than 1,500 related enterprises including big names like iFLYTEK, with the total industrial output exceeding 200 billion yuan ($29.54 billion). 

In recent years, leveraging abundant innovation resources and robust data infrastructure, the zone has cultivated advanced industrial clusters, laying a solid foundation that empowers local companies to enter and compete in diverse international markets.
