A delegation of international buyers representing industries from home appliances to healthcare recently toured the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone, getting an immersive look at the zone's smart manufacturing strengths and laying the groundwork for new cross-border partnerships.
The buyers, hailing from 13 markets including the U.S., Spain, the UAE, Uzbekistan, and Thailand, visited six flagship local enterprises to gain first-hand insights into the zone's industrial clusters, R&D strengths, and global supply chains.

At Zhongke Radio Sensing AI, the delegates tested one of the world's first wearable-free devices that can track heart rate, monitor sleep, and issue early warnings for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular risks. According to Zhang Dong, general manager of the company, eight foreign buyers expressed preliminary interest in collaboration that very day.
After the facility visits, the delegates joined entrepreneurs from 14 local enterprises for a business matchmaking session, where they signaled clear intent to collaborate across sectors such as smart home appliances, new energy, artificial intelligence, and smart healthcare. "These intelligent devices are excellent, and they will be hugely popular in the Omani market," said one buyer from Oman after the tour.
In recent years, the Hefei high-tech zone has steadily expanded its foreign trade efforts, implementing targeted preferential policies, aligning industrial and trade resources, and lowering cross-border business costs for local enterprises.
Looking ahead, the zone will further refine its foreign-related policy and service support to help global buyers access more of its cutting-edge technologies and high-end smart manufacturing products.
