Stretching 3.5 kilometers through the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone, Yunfei Road — widely recognized as "Quantum Avenue" — hosts more than 90 quantum-focused enterprises, anchored by industry leaders including QuantumCTek, China Telecom Quantum Group, Origin Quantum, and CIQTEK.
Beyond the quantum industry cluster, the zone is also home to a full-spectrum AI ecosystem of over 1,500 enterprises, a big health sector with more than 400 specialized firms, and a fast-growing aerospace information industrial base home to over 150 companies.
In 2025, the zone welcomed over 400 newly certified national-level high-tech enterprises, bringing the total to over 3,700, a figure that accounts for 34% of Hefei's entire stock. Its roster of specialized tech companies with great growth potentials known as "little giant" stands at 135, making up 43.2% of the city's total.
To fuel its rapidly growing industries, the district has brought in 13,000 top-tier professionals — accounting for a whopping 25% of the city's entire elite talent pool. Its flagship youth talent hostel, Yunguo Home, has welcomed over 2,400 job seekers and new hires working across various enterprises in the zone.
Hefei high-tech zone has now built out a fully integrated innovation ecosystem: world-class R&D platforms at the source of breakthroughs, seamless technology transfer channels that bridge lab to market, concentrated industrial clusters that drive collaboration, and enterprise-focused supporting services tailored to innovators and startups.
