Senior legislator meets Romanian guests

Chinese senior legislator Chen Zhili met in Beijing on Monday with a delegation from the Committee for Foreign Policy of the Romanian Chamber of Deputies, led by Chairperson Stefen Glavan.

Chen, also vice-chairperson of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress (NPC), expressed appreciation and gratitude for Romania's support to the Beijing Olympic Games. She said the legislative bodies of the two countries should strengthen exchanges and cooperation so as to push forward the bilateral relations between China and Romania.

The delegation is invited by Foreign Affairs Committee of the NPC.
