据《广州日报》报道,公安部交管局发布的数据显示,中国机动车保有量已达1.99亿辆,其中汽车8500多万辆,每年新增机动车2000多万辆。这意味着,中国已经成为全球汽车保有量第二大国,仅次于拥有约2.5亿辆的美国。

衣橱整理师新高薪职业

据中国新闻网报道,成都出现了衣橱整理师的新职业。目前成都职业衣橱整理师“只有几十名”,整理一次衣橱收费3000元左右。专业的衣橱整理师陪同客户购物,选择搭配服装。他们把每一套服装按场合搭配好分门别类放入衣橱,并拍照留给客户使客户随时记得各个场合下可以穿的衣服。

警察找小姐开房被勒索

据《钱江晚报》报道,浙江温州一位小姐因试图敲诈一名贵州警察而被判7个月监禁。据悉,该民警来温州出差时找这位小姐开房,结果小姐用电话将地址告知男友。赶来的男友带2人抢走了他的警官证,还勒索赎金1万元。报道称,该小姐的男友被判14个月,另两名同伙均被判6个月,贵州警方目前正对该涉案民警进行调查。

川豫发生地震

据新华社报道,周一上午,四川省发生4.0级地震,省会成都有震感。据称,此次地震为两年前8.0级汶川大地震的余震。截止中午尚未有伤亡报告。周日下午,河南省发生4.7级地震,致使24间房屋坍塌,12名学生受伤。

S.H.E.成员烧成重伤 已返台

Prostitute gets 7 months for blackmail

A prostitute from Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, has been sentenced to seven months in prison after she tried to blackmail a policeman from Guizhou Province, Qianjiang Evening News reports. The policeman was in Wenzhou on business when he met the woman, who then called her boyfriend to tell him where she and the policeman were meeting. Her boyfriend and two other men arrived and stole the policeman's ID card, demanding 10,000 yuan for its return. The boyfriend was also sentenced to 14 months in prison, while his accomplices were given six months each. Police in Guizhou are still investigating the policeman's actions.

Two quakes hit south-central China

A 4.0-magnitude earthquake hit Sichuan Province on Monday morning, and the tremor was felt in the provincial capital, Chengdu, Xinhua reports. The quake is believed to be an aftershock of the 8.0-magnitude Wenchuan earthquake that happened two years ago. No casualties have been reported as of midday. On Sunday afternoon, a magnitude-4.7 quake hit Henan Province, leveling 24 houses and leaving 12 students injured.

Taiwan singer burned, goes home

Selina Jen, a member of Taiwan's popular pop group S.H.E., was flown back to Taiwan on Sunday after sustaining serious burns while shooting a TV drama series on Chinese mainland over the weekend, AFP reports. The accident took place when explosives went off earlier than planned on the production set. Jen arrived in Taipei late in the day on a chartered flight from Shanghai. Her father said she was in stable condition but that it might take her months to recover. The pop star suffered third-degree burns on about 40% of her body.
