李刚之子被判六年

Li Qiming has been sentenced to six years in jail.

据新华社报道，李启铭已被判6年有期徒刑，他于去年10月在河北大学校园内开车撞死一名青年女子，撞伤另一名女子，在现场被抓到后，他还叫嚣其警察父亲的名字李刚，因此臭名远扬。

望都县人民法院发表声明称，李启铭对酒后驾车和交通肇事致人死亡罪表示认罪。声明还表示，李启铭得到从宽处理，因其交代了所有罪行，其家人通过赔偿与受害人家属达成和解。李启铭的父母赔偿死者陈晓凤的家属46万元，赔偿伤者张晶晶9.1万元，张晶晶腿部骨折。

Officer's son gets 6 years in jail

Li Qiming, who gained notoriety for invoking his policeman father's name, Li Gang, after being caught for killing a young woman and injuring another with his car on Hebei University's campus last October, has been sentenced to six years in jail, Xinhua reports.

Li pled guilty to drunk driving and vehicular manslaughter, the People's Court in Wangdu County said in a statement. The statement also said that Li had received leniency because he confessed to all his crimes and his family reconciled with the victims' families through compensation. Li's parents gave 460,000 yuan to the family of Chen Xiaofeng, who died, and 91,000 yuan to Zhang Jingjing, who suffered a fractured leg.
