Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant has become the first athlete ever to be immortalized at Grauman's Chinese Theater, the Hollywood movie industry landmark, Xinhua reported. Imprints of Bryant's hands and feet will be placed in the theater's famous Forecourt of the Stars. "This is a tremendous honor," Bryant said at the ceremony, which was held inside the theater Saturday. He said having his prints alongside those of Hollywood legends was "right at the top" of his many accomplishments, including helping the Lakers to five NBA championships.
White House to hire Chinese interns
The White House is to select 10 young people from Chongqing to work for President Obama for a month as interns, the Chongqing Morning News reported. The Youth Ambassador Plan had previously been restricted to Hong Kong and Taiwan.
