Wang Shuo was officially arrested on Jan. 25 and set on bail on June 2.
According to the criminal laws of China, persons convicted of illegally carrying guns and ammunitions could be sentenced to a maximum of seven years in prison. Those convicted of deliberate destruction of property can also receive a maximum seven-year sentence.
The charges also indicate that Wang Shuo has been involved in other car-related quarrels last year. On July 15, 2010, he allegedly had a scuffle with a man named Liu at the underground garage of Shin Kong Place and called in many people (including three of the suspects for the December incident) to break Liu's BMW car. Liu's vehicle damage is reportedly 26,500 yuan (US$4,150).
Wang Shuo, 29, is the son of Wang Zhicai, an Australian Chinese businessman, and the stepson of actress Wang Yan. Wang Shuo is also known for dating star actress Zhou Xun.
The four referred together as "Jing Cheng Si Shao" are respectively Wang Xiaofei, Wang Ke, Wang Yu and Wang Shuo.
