Home away from home: Harley Davidson
Adjust font size:

By Christina Monserrate

I'm living inBeijingfor two months, and it's my first time abroad. Needless to say, I miss home. We're about halfway through our experience as Olympic volunteers, and I must say things are really picking up. But I still found time to visit a place I call home.

It's really hard to shop for my Dad. I never know what he wants. But, I found the perfect place to get his souvenir fromChina.

My dad rides two Harleys, and he likes to collect Harley T-shirts. What makes these t-shirts special? Take a look at the screen print on the back of them.

In each city where there's a Harley Davidson store, there are T-shirts with the name of the city printed on the back. Harley Davidson ofBeijingis also the first authorized dealer of its kind in mainlandChina.

The only disappointing part about the T-shirts is that they're double the price of the T-shirts inAmerica- 298 RMB each! I still bought three - two for my dad, and one for my mom. You only live once, right? These shirts aren't available online, or in theUnited States.
