Mr. Cao Xiaojun, the manager of Quanjude Group's market development, said that thanks to the widespread reputation Quanjude has enjoyed in Taiwan, the branch is expected to be well received.

However, since there is no precedent for Chinese mainland's catering enterprises setting up branches in Taiwan, and specifics such as personnel entry, work permits and raw material import will not be settled until relevant agreements are inked between the Chinese mainland and Taiwan, so people on the island will have to wait for some time before they can taste Quanjude's roast duck.
